About GITEX AFRICA:
GITEX AFRICA, the continent’s largest all-inclusive tech event, will connect tech titans, governments, SMEs, start-ups, coders, investors and academia, to accelerate, collaborate and explore new ventures.
A curation of emerging technologies from fintech, e-commerce, cloud, IoT, AI, telecom to cybersecurity will be heavily featured during the three-day annual pan-African forum in Marrakech, Morocco.

GITEX AFRICA MOROCCO:
GITEX AFRICA will amplify the continent’s digital aspirations and achievements powered by tech savvy youth, corporates and ambitious governments.
Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco will host the 1st edition of GITEX Africa Morocco from May 31 to June 02, 2023 in Marrakech. This first edition is organized by the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC), under the aegis of the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform (MDTAR) and in partnership with the Digital Development Agency (DDA).
GITEX Africa Morocco aims to:
- Promote the dynamics of the national digital ecosystem;
- Highlight the various advances and innovative achievements of the public and private sector;
- Identify investment opportunities and partnerships with technology operators invited to this great mass of digital.
To this end, a call for applications "GITEX AFRICA Morocco 100" is launched to select 100 Moroccan startups wishing to participate in this renowned event, which aims to receive more than 20,000 visitors, and provides for the participation of more than 125 government entities and more than 900 international exhibitors.
They will also have the opportunity to participate in the Supernova challenge which aims to be the largest pitch competition in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia with cash prizes totaling $100,000.
